The 33rd Graduation, Prize Awarding Ceremonies and Convocation Meeting.

A.Graduation Ceremony        
Graduands and Members of the General Public are hereby informed that the 33rd SUA Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday 24th November, 2017 at Solomon Mahlangu Campus (SMC), “Nelson Mandela Freedom Square”, Mazimbu in Morogoro, starting at 11:00 am. During the day, the Chancellor of SUA will confer degree and non-degree awards to the 2016/2017 academic year graduands. 

B.Hire and Return of Gowns
All graduands are informed that hiring fee for a graduation gown is Tshs 40,000/= (non-refundable) and this fee is paid through SUA CRDB Bank Account Number 01J1076769836.  Graduands should note that deadline for returning all the hired gowns to the  University shall be Monday 27th November, 2017 from 08.00 am to 6.00 pm  and  Tshs 20,000/= per day shall be charged as a penalty for each gown to be  returned late.

C.Collection of Graduation Gowns and Participation in Rehearsal
Graduation Gowns will be collected by graduands on Wednesday 22nd November, 2017 and Thursday 23rd November, 2017 from 08:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Participation in rehearsal for graduands is mandatory and it will be held on the graduation ceremony day (24th November, 2017) from 08:00 am to 09.00 am at the “Nelson Mandela Freedom Square”, Solomon Mahlangu Campus, Mazimbu.  Graduands who will not take part in the rehearsal shall not be allowed to participate at the Graduation Ceremony, regardless of their presence.  
Likewise, graduands who have not settled their outstanding fees and other related costs are being encouraged to settle their debts immediately, through the Account number indicated in item “B” of this announcement, otherwise they shall not be allowed to graduate.

D.Prize Awarding Ceremony
Continuing students and Graduands are also informed that Prize Awarding Ceremony for those who excelled in various subjects and outstanding students leadership will be held on Thursday  23rd November, 2017 at the Council Chamber, Main Campus, from 08:30 am to 10.30 am and the following are the names of prize awardees:
