The 40th Sokoine Memorial 2024
The Vice Chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture invites the public to the 40th
Sokoine Memorial to be held at the Edward Moringe Campus (Main Campus) of the
Sokoine University of Agriculture on 8th April, 2024.
The theme of the commemoration is “Edward Moringe Sokoine’s 40th Memorial: A National Legacy and his
Leadership, Diligence, Integrity and Loyalty”. The commemoration will take place through a High Profile Panel Discussion lead by high profile figures including JudgeJoseph Sinde Warioba (Retired) and Chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture; Hon. Anna Makinda (Retired Speaker of the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania);
Prof. Issa G. Shivji (Professor Emeritus at the University of Dar es Salaam), and Prof. Kalunde P. Sibuga (Renowned Professor at Sokoine University of Agriculture).
