Vice Chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), Prof. Raphael Chibunda has advised the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation TBC to establish a special channel that will focus on showing agricultural programs to enable farmers to do more productive farming.
Prof. Chibunda gave this advice in the Mizani program broadcast by TBC at Edward Moringe Sokoine (SUA) Main Campus in Morogoro.
‘‘In our country, we have many TV channels that are only for music, some for sports and drama, but I think it is good that we have a channel that specializes in agriculture and we, as the Sokoine University of Agriculture SUA, we will be stakeholders in the launch of that channel,’’ said Prof. Chibunda .
