This is to inform the University Community and the general public that on 27th September 2023 the Council at its 173rd meeting approved promotions of  Two (2) members of  the academic staff  from the rank of  Associate Professor to Professor; One (1) member from Associate Research Professor to Research Professor and Seven (7) members from Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor. Earlier, on 19th September, 2023 the Appointment  and  Human  Resource  Management  Committee,  approved  promotions  of  Twenty (20)  academicians  from lecturers to senior lecturers.
