African Traditional Medicine day was first commemorated in 31st August, 2003 following the adoption of World Health Organization resolution of 2002 on Promoting the role of Traditional medicine in health systems. The aim of this important day is to promote the important role of the African Traditional medicine in improving the health of Africans. It is two decades now since the adoption and first celebration, this year’s theme is

The 2022 commemoration will host a scientific conference (29 – 30 August, 2022) which will be held at Sokoine University of Agriculture, Edward Moringe Campus Morogoro.
