EXIT LEVEL OUTCOMES AND ASSOCIATED ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

There will be two exit levels for the MSc. Crop Science. A candidate who shall have completed course work but could not continue with the research component of the program will qualify for the award of a postgraduate diploma in Crop Science. Upon successful completion of the program, the candidate will qualify for the award of Master of Science in Crop Science degree of Sokoine University of Agriculture.
 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

The Admission regulations for Master Degrees as stipulated in "Regulations and guidelines for higher degrees" of Sokoine University of Agriculture shall apply.

Applicants shall be eligible for registration in the Master’s degree in Crop Science if he/she has: 

  1. A bachelor degree in Agricultural sciences or closely related subjects from a recognized institution.
  2. Candidates with PASS degree in the relevant field will be considered for admission if they have exhibited academic potential through extensive fieldwork, subsequent research experience and/or additional training.
