The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) at Sokoine University of Agriculture was honoured to welcome distinguished visitors from the University of Messina, Italy. The visit marks an important milestone in strengthening scientific collaboration, promoting knowledge exchange, and fostering long-term partnerships in research and innovation.
The engagement builds upon the Memorandum of Understanding between Sokoine University of Agriculture and the University of Messina, formally signed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Raphael Chibunda, and the Rector, Professor Giovanna Spatari, respectively. The partnership aims to advance collaborative research, academic exchange, and capacity building for mutual benefit.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed by Dr Augustine B. Matondo on behalf of the Principal, Professor Esron D. Karimuribo. Discussions focused on areas of common scientific interest and opportunities for expanding cooperation between the two institutions.
CVMBS looks forward to fruitful collaborations that will contribute to excellence in research, innovation, and higher education.
