SUA Receives Seeding Labs 2020 Instrumental Access Award

Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA),  Morogoro, Tanzania is honored to be one of 18 awardees from across the globe chosen to receive scientific equipment through Seeding Labs’ 2020 Instrumental Access program. Through Instrumental Access, Seeding Labs makes high-quality laboratory equipment and supplies available to university departments and research institutes in developing countries.

Department of Veterinary Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is one of 18 awardees selected to receive an Instrumental Access 2020 award from a pool of 58 applications received from 20 countries.

During the rigorous selection process, each applicant outlined the ways that an infusion of scientific equipment would remove barriers to STEM education and research at their institution—adding crucial scientific capacity.
