The conference and anniversary celebrations are being held in South Africa from 29 June to 3 July 2026.
During the conference and anniversary celebration, the Chairperson of TSAEE, Prof. Catherine Phillip Msuya, delivered a keynote address in which she warmly congratulated SASAE on reaching its 60th anniversary. She commended the Society for its remarkable achievements and sustained contribution to the agricultural extension profession, noting that SASAE has become a model Society for other professional extension societies across Africa and the wider international community.
Prof. Catherine also highlighted the achievements of TSAEE, emphasizing its role in bringing together agricultural extension professionals in Tanzania and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders to promote the development of the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors.
Furthermore, in her address, Prof. Catherine outlined TSAEE's strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening and advancing the agricultural extension profession in Tanzania, with a focus on enhancing professional capacity, promoting innovation, and supporting sustainable agricultural development.
