Tanga Livestock Farmers Commend SUA for Livestock Training and Mastitis Treatment Innovation

Mr. Paulo Baltazar, a retired Livestock Extension Officer and livestock farmer from Tanga Region has expressed his sincere appreciation to the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) through the NANOCOM Project, coordinated by Prof. Gaymary Bakari, for visiting and providing training to 79 livestock farmers engaged primarily in dairy farming in the region.

He stated that the training has strengthened farmers' knowledge and skills in best livestock management practices, particularly on the prevention and control of mastitis, a disease that has been causing significant losses to dairy farmers through reduced milk production.
