LEARNING OUTCOME

At the end of the programme the graduate should be able to;

  1. apply and communicate scientific and technological knowledge to meet the needs of the industry and the consumer for the production and marketing
  2. Develop attitude towards self-employment and employ themselves in agricultural and agribusiness value chains.
  3. Identify and respond to economic challenges encountered in current agribusiness value chains;
  4. Evaluate new techniques and where appropriate, apply them to commercial practice.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Two principal passes (4 points) in the following subjects: Economics, Advanced Mathematics, Geography, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture and Biology. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in Basic Mathematics at O-Level OR Diploma in Agriculture with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in two science subject and a minimum of “D” grade in Mathematics at O-Level.
