Prof. Yonika Ngaga urges leaders to work for university development

Former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Sokoine University of Agriculture (Administration and Finance), Professor Yonika Ngaga on October 2, 2019 urged leaders from colleges, directorates, institutes and departments to continue working with all their hearts for the development and prosperity of the university.

Professor Ngaga delivered the message while speaking after receiving the excellent leadership award from the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Tourism in recognition of his exceptional leadership, service and performance as SUA Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration and Finance) from 2014 to 2018. The event was held at the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Tourism grounds in SUA main campus. 

Professor Ngaga thanked the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Tourism leadership and all staff for the award and he promised to continue working with them for the benefits and developments of college and university at large.

On the other side, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Peter Gillah used that opportunity to also congratulate Professor Ngaga for his outstanding leadership and performance as Sokoine University of Agriculture’s Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration and Finance) and wished him all the best in his next roles and assignments at the university.

Lastly, the principal of the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Tourism, Professor John Kessy expressed his gratitude to all staff who participated in the event where he pledged to continue the tradition of recognizing staff from the college for their performances in order to enhance unity and cooperation.
