ABOUT PROGRAMME
LEARNING OUTCOME
At the end of the programme, successful graduates should be able to demonstrate understanding and competences and ability to:
- Plan, design and mange wildlife enterprises and industries for sustainable wildlife practices in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Conduct basic and applied wildlife research, extension work and consultancy.
- Address environmental and conservation issues.
- Prepare graduates for self-employment.
- Embark on postgraduate training leading to research in wildlife and related careers.
Graduate with knowledge on how to care, protect and manage the wildlife.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
.Two principal passes (4 points) in Biology and any of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics or Geography or Diploma in Wildlife Management, Forestry, Bee-Keeping, Animal Health, Animal Production or other related fields with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, the applicant must have obtained at least a “D” grade in Biology and two other science subjects at the O-Level.
