LEARNING OUTCOME

Students who graduate from this program will be able to;-

  1. Teach Geography and Biology in secondary schools and other education institutions.
  2. Apply scientific and analytical methods in education development.
  3. Influence public policy regarding excellence in Geography as a spatial science and biology as a life science subject.
  4. Advise and participate in formulation of education of educational curricula in the areas of geography and Biology.
  5. Participate in research, consultancy and extension services in areas of Geography Biology and Education

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Two principal passes (4 points) in the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Com- puter Science, Physics or Geography OR Diploma in Education with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0.
In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in two science subjects in the following order,

Chemistry and Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, Geography and Biology, or Geography and Mathematics; Chemistry and Physics; Physics and Mathematics; Physics and Geography.
