LEARNING OUTCOME

At the end of the programme, successful graduates should be able to demonstrate understanding and competences and ability to:

  1. Plan, design and mange wildlife enterprises and industries for sustainable wildlife practices in a multidisciplinary environment.
  2. Conduct basic and applied wildlife research, extension work and consultancy.
  3. Address environmental and conservation issues.
  4. Prepare graduates for self-employment.
  5. Embark on postgraduate training leading to research in wildlife and related careers.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Two principal passes (4 points) in Biology and one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics or Geography OR Diploma in Wildlife Management, Forestry, Bee-Keeping, Animal Health, Animal Production or other re- lated fields with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in Biology and two science subjects at O-Level.
