LEARNING OUTCOME

By the end programme, students should able to:

  1. Demonstrate understanding of key concepts, principles and theories in information and library 
  2. Exhibit ability to manage small and medium sized libraries as well as documentation and information centres.
  3. Demonstrate ability to use ICT applications in managing and providing information and library services 
  4. Show awareness of contemporary and emerging issues in information and library science.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Two Principal passes (2 points) in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, French, Geography, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, English and Nutrition; OR Certificate in Tour Guiding and Hunting Operations (UQF level 5), holders of Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Museum, Tour Guiding, Wildlife Tourism, Archaeology, Food preparation, Food Beverage and Front Office and any other related fields. In addition, an Applicant must have four passes in O-Level subjects

FEES

TZS 900,000/= for Tanzanians and TZS 6,311,400 for international students.
