For the first time, the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) has released 500 Million Tanzanian Shillings to support young early career staff to conduct research using internal-generated funds.

The main objective of this training workshop is to enhance technical personnel and custodian of repositories to undertake the upgrade process of their institutional repositories. The training is titled "Digital Repository Technical Workshop: Management and Upgrading of Repository Software".

On 14th April, 2021, InnovAfrica project organized a one-day policy dialogue meeting on food security in Rungwe District, Mbeya region whereby one of the topics of discussion was the best way to grow Brachiaria forage grass to increase milk production in the country.
