Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) had the great honor of hosting ambassadors from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway as part of efforts to deepen our long standing partnerships. The visit highlighted over 50 years of collaboration, starting with Norway’s support in establishing forestry education and Denmark’s key role in building the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and training early lecturers.

Sokoine University of Agriculture is taking big steps to upgrade its laboratories to international standards. This strategic move aims to boost the university’s global reputation, improve research quality, and reduce the high costs of getting export certifications for agricultural products.

A total of 794 graduates from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) across 77 academic programs have been awarded degrees, including 495 men and 299 women.
