Former President of the Republic of South Africa, Hon. Thabo Mbeki, planted a tree beside the graves of the nation's freedom fighters during a special visit to the Solomon Mahlangu Campus of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) on May 22, 2025.

The 45th Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) Mid Year Graduation Ceremony is being held on Thursday 22nd May 2025 at the Edward Moringe Campus (Main Campus), Morogoro, starting at 10:00 am. On this day, the Chancellor of SUA Hon. (R.t.d) Justice, Joseph Sinde Warioba will confer degree and non-degree awards to the graduands
