Dairy farmers in Mafinga, Iringa Region, are stepping up! Thanks to training from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) through the NANO COM Project, farmers are now producing safer, high-quality milk and turning it into a powerful economic tool.

Over 50 farmers in Arusha received special training from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) on how to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and manage mastitis in dairy cattle.

The NANO COMM project trains dairy farmers in Arusha on livestock health, especially tackling mastitis during the rainy seasons. Simple, affordable, but effective methods are taught to farmers to curb disease, improve milk productivity, and boost the income of livestock keepers.
