The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences will mark the World Antibiotic Awareness Week (WAAW) through ROAD SHOW demonstrations from New lecture theatres to Sabasaba grounds on Saturday, 14th December, 2019 starting from 9:00 am to 1.00 pm.
Guest speakers will be the Municipal Director, Veterinary and Medical Municipal officers. Others are representatives for WHO, FAO and OIE. The purpose of the event is to increase global awareness on antibiotic resistance (AMR) and encourage best practices among the general public, health workers and policy makers so as to avoid the further emergence and spread of antibiotic resistance.
You are all invited to participate by coming at new lecture theatres at 9:00 when the demonstrations will start.
