SUA Involves External Stakeholders in Improving the Curriculum for Forestry, Wildlife, and Tourism Courses

Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is currently implementing the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) project, a five-year venture aimed at strengthening the learning environment and labor market alignment of priority programs. The project, in partnership with the Government of Tanzania and the World Bank, has allocated significant funds to support the construction and repair of infrastructure, improve curricula, purchase equipment, and facilitate staff training.

Highlights of the 5th International Training on Ecohydrology in Tanzania

“Nature-based and Bankable Nature Solutions for Environmental Sustainability” November 13th - 17th, 2023: National Carbon Monitoring Centre - Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania Between 13th and 17th, November 2023, the UNESCO Chair on Ecohydrology and Transboundary Water Management of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) organized the 5th International Training on Ecohydrology in Tanzania. The one-week training was conducted at National Carbon Monitoring Centre (NCMC), Sokoine University of Agriculture, Morogoro Tanzania.
