Government Financial Commitment Needed to Rescue the Agricultural Sector in Tanzania

Agricultural transformation in Tanzania needs more efforts in creating awareness among small-scale farmers to move from subsistence farming and embark on agribusiness. Government commitment in funds allocation and strengthening of ties among the Agricultural Sector Lead Ministries (ASLMs) is of paramount importance.

The Results of the EFLOWS Project Research are awaited by 10 African Countries.

​​​​​​​The leader of the Nairobi Resolution Secretariat, Mr.  Dixon Waruinge who is the Implementation Manager of the Environmental Water Assessment Model Project (EFLOWS) has said that the project has been implemented better than they expected and its results have already started to benefit some African countries.
