On the week of 3rd October 2022, The Directorate of Human Resources and Administration of the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) welcomed new employees who were recently hired by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania to join the university as academic staff

On September 28, 2022, Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) through the SUA Animal Referral Hospital collaborated with Morogoro Municipality to provide education, advice, and rabies vaccination to Bigwa and Mindu Wards in Morogoro Municipality. The campaign was part of the stepwise approach to rabies elimination in the country.

All participants including those who attended online from countries other than Tanzania received a certificate of attendance after the training
