Mzumbe University, Sokoine University of Agriculture, University of Dar es Salaam and the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands (ISS-EUR) are jointly organizing a five-day Writeshop on 28^th April – 2^nd May 2025 in broader thematic areas of agrarian studies and development studies.

Books Launch Event

The College of Social Sciences and Humanities is delighted to announce the launch of two books to be held on Friday, 13th December, 2024, at 2pm at the Council Chamber at Sokoine University of Agriculture. The titles of the books are:

1.    Rural Initiatives for Participatory Agricultural Transformation (RIPAT) and Rural Development. SUA & RECODA Joint Publication, Mkuki na Nyota Publishers, Dar es Salaam. 306 pp.

2.    Writing Effectively: A Guide to Academic Writing for Colleges and Universities. Published by Dar es Salaam University Press, Dar es Salaam.

The Guest of Honour will be Prof. Carolyne I. Nombo, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
