In this year’s event, hundreds of students have been flooding the pavilion of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) with the aim of applying to join the Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's degree, Master and PhD programs for the 2022/2023 academic year which is expected to start in November this year.

Innocent James, who is a third-year Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Management at Sokoine University of Agriculture, has been announced as the 1st runner-up in Tanzania and 2nd winner at the continental level in the 9th Continental Essay Writing competition organized by the African Organization for Standardization (ARSO) and Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) earlier this year.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research and Consultancy) Prof. Maulid Mwatawala has told the public that this is the right time for any student to choose to study at Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA). This is because SUA helps each of its students to acquire the right knowledge and modern skills that will help them to be employed and self-employed easily after graduation.
