Matokeo ya Utafiti ya Mradi wa FoodLAND Kusaidia Kuboresha Kilimo na Lishe Afrika.

Imeelezwa kuwa matokeo yote mazuri ya Mradi wa Chakula Kilimo na Lishe (FOODLAND) yaliyopatikana kwenye nchi zinazotekeleza mradi huo yatakwenda kuisaidia jamii katika kuhusanisha Kilimo, Matumzi ya mazao ya chakula na lishe na hivyo kupunguza changamoto za chakula na lishe Afrika. Kauli hiyo imetolewa na Naibu Makamu Mkuu wa Kikuu cha Sokoine cha Kilimo (SUA)  upande wa Taaluma, Utafiti na Ushauri wa Kitaalamu Prof. Maulid Mwatawala wakati akifungua Mkutano Mkuu wa wa tatu wa Mwaka wa Mradi huo uliofanyika visiwani Zanzibar wa kufanya tathimini ya kazi zilizofanyika ndani ya mradi ili kuendelea kuboresha ufanyaji kazi wa mradi huo.

WATCH: FoodLAND 3RD CONFERENCE

The Foodland 3rd Annual Meeting in Zanzibar is the conference presenting results of the FoodLAND project where SUA is one of the 26 organizations from 13 implementing countries. It is funded by European Union. The main objective of the project is to develop, implement,and validate innovative, scalable, and sustainable technologies aimed at supporting the nutrition performance of local food systems in Africa, while strengthening agro-biodiversity and food diversity as well a diversity of healthy diets. The project started in September 2020 and the country coordinator is Prof. Susan Nchimbi-Msola.

Outstanding Publications by Postgraduate Student - Anosisye Mwandulusya Kesale from College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH)

During the 40th graduation convocation ceremony, a prize for the best postgraduate student was awarded to Anosisye Mwandulusya Kesale from the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). The candidate was supervised by Prof. Christopher Mahonge and Dr. Mikidadi Muhanga both from the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). This candidate investigated on Functionality of Primary Health Facility Governing Committees in Implementing Direct Health Facility Financing in Local Government Authorities in Tanzania.
